Trust & Safety

How ReGo makes resale safer

The biggest risk in buying or selling a second-hand booking or ticket is uncertainty: is it real? Can it be transferred? Will the other side follow through? ReGo was built to answer those questions before anyone parts with their money — and to stand behind the answer.

Verification — every listing, every time

We do not publish listings automatically. Every item submitted to ReGo goes through a manual verification process. We contact the hotel, venue, airline, cruise line, or other issuer directly to confirm three things:

  • Validity — the booking exists and has been fully paid.
  • Transferability — the issuer permits name change, transfer, or resale.
  • Ownership — the person listing the item is the original purchaser or an authorized holder.

If we cannot confirm all three, we do not publish the listing. Every approved listing includes a written verification report showing what was checked and the result.

A signed contract with every seller

Before we list anything, the seller signs a sale mandate — the same kind of contract used in property and brokerage. It commits the seller to honour the transfer once the buyer pays, warrants that the item is valid and transferable, and makes the seller liable to reimburse the buyer if they fail to complete the transfer. This is what turns a verification into a real guarantee.

Buyer protection built in

Every sale is covered by buyer protection. If a transfer fails through no fault of the buyer, the buyer is compensated:

  • The seller does not complete the transfer after payment.
  • The issuer refuses the transfer despite our verification.
  • The item turns out to be invalid despite passing our checks.

Buyers deal only with ReGo and pay the item’s price directly to the seller — with the comfort that ReGo and its buyer protection stand behind the transfer.

Anti-fraud measures

  • Proof of purchase. Sellers must provide original receipts, booking confirmations, or invoices before verification begins.
  • Identity & KYC checks. Every seller completes a simple know-your-customer check: we verify their identity and bank account so the buyer’s payment reaches a real, traceable person.
  • Buyers deal only with ReGo. The seller stays anonymous to the public. Buyers never negotiate with an anonymous stranger.
  • Listing history. Every published listing carries a timestamp and a unique verification ID.

Reporting a problem

If something goes wrong with a transaction initiated through ReGo, let us know. We take reports seriously, enforce the seller contract, and activate buyer protection where it applies.
