How ReGo makes resale safer
The biggest risk in buying or selling a second-hand booking or ticket is uncertainty: is it real? Can it be transferred? ReGo was built to answer those questions before anyone parts with their money.
Verification — every listing, every time
We do not publish listings automatically. Every single item submitted to ReGo goes through a manual verification process. Our team contacts the hotel, venue, airline, cruise line, or other issuer directly to confirm validity (the booking exists and is paid), transferability (the issuer permits name change or resale), and ownership (the person listing it is the original purchaser):
- The booking exists in their system and has been fully paid.
- The issuer permits transfer, name change, or resale to another person.
- The person listing the item is the original purchaser or authorized holder.
If we cannot confirm all three, we do not publish the listing. You receive a verification report for every approved listing, showing what was checked and the result.
Anti-fraud measures
- Proof of purchase. Sellers must provide original receipts, booking confirmations, or invoices before verification begins.
- Identity & KYC checks. We collect basic identity information from sellers (name, contact details, matching proof of purchase) as part of a simple know-your-customer check.
- Masked contact. Buyer and seller communicate through our platform without exposing personal email addresses or phone numbers unless they choose to share them.
- Listing history. Every published listing carries a timestamp and a unique verification ID, creating a clear record.
Our guarantee — and what is not covered
What we guarantee: Every listing published on ReGo was valid, paid, and transferable at the time we verified it. If we miss something and the listing was not valid at that point, we refund the listing fee. You can read the verification report for any listing before you contact the seller.
What is not covered: ReGo does not handle payments, escrow, or the transfer itself. Once a buyer and seller connect, the transaction happens directly between them. We cannot guarantee that a seller will follow through on a transfer after being contacted, nor that a buyer will complete the purchase. Think of our verification as a documented starting point — it gives both sides a reliable answer to the question “Is this real?” before they talk.
Reporting a problem
If something goes wrong with a transaction initiated through ReGo, let us know. While we cannot mediate disputes between private parties, we take reports seriously and may delist or ban sellers who do not honour their listings.
