1. What Data ReGo Collects
When you use ReGo, we collect the following categories of information: (a) account data — your name and email address, which you provide when registering; (b) listing details — information you submit when advertising a booking or ticket, including descriptions, dates, prices, and any images you choose to upload; (c) proof-of-purchase documentation — files you upload to support a listing’s validity, which may contain booking references, confirmation numbers, or receipts; and (d) communications data — messages you send and receive through the platform’s contact system. We do not collect payment card information, bank account details, or government-issued identification numbers.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data for the following purposes: to create and maintain your account; to display your listings on the marketplace; to perform verification checks on the proof-of-purchase documentation you provide; to route buyer enquiries to the appropriate seller; to communicate with you about your account, listings, and platform updates; and to improve the security and functionality of the service. Data is processed only to the extent reasonably necessary to deliver these functions.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (given when you register and when you submit a listing) and, where applicable, on the basis of legitimate interest — namely, the operation of a functional and secure marketplace. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account, though withdrawal may affect our ability to provide certain services, such as maintaining active listings.
4. Data Sharing
ReGo does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or analytics purposes. Your name, listing details, and contact information are disclosed only to the party you are transacting with — that is, a seller’s information is shared with an enquiring buyer, and a buyer’s information is shared with the seller they contact. This disclosure is inherent to the functioning of the marketplace and is limited to what is necessary for the parties to communicate and complete their transaction. We do not share your data with any external data brokers, advertisers, or affiliated platforms.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If your account is inactive for a period of two years, or if you request deletion, we will securely erase your personal data and listing information within a reasonable period, unless we are required by applicable law to retain certain records for a longer period. Proof-of-purchase documents are retained for a maximum of 90 days after a listing is removed or expires, after which they are permanently deleted.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request that inaccurate data be rectified, and to request that your data be erased, subject to any legal retention obligations. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the email address provided on the platform. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe and, in any case, within the period required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction if you believe your data has not been handled in accordance with applicable privacy law.
